Terms of Use

1. Free to use

True North Prep is provided free of charge for your personal, non-commercial study and preparation for the Canadian Citizenship Test. There is no fee, subscription, or account required to use the practice questions and study materials. Donations are entirely optional and never unlock content.

2. Intellectual property & permitted use

All content on this website — including the practice questions, answers, study notes, explanations, text, design, illustrations, and other resources(the “Content”) — is the property of 0x Code Limited and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws, except where it is based on public Government of Canada source material.

You may use the Content for your own personal study. You may not, without prior written permission from 0x Code Limited:

• copy, reproduce, scrape, or download the questions, notes, or resources in bulk;
• republish, distribute, sell, license, or otherwise make the Content available to others;
• use the Content to train, build, or populate any other app, website, dataset, or AI/machine-learning model;
• create derivative works from the Content for commercial purposes; or
• remove or obscure any attribution, branding, or copyright notices.

If you would like to use any of the Content beyond personal study, you must request permission from 0x Code Limited. Unauthorized copying or use is a violation of these Terms and may infringe our rights.

3. Not affiliated with the Government of Canada

True North Prep is an independent, unofficial study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Government of Canada or Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Some material references publicly available official sources, but this site is not an official government product.

4. No guarantee of accuracy

We work to keep the questions and notes accurate and aligned with current study materials, but we make no guarantee that the Content is complete, current, or error-free. The Content is for practice only and does not guarantee any particular result on the official citizenship test. Always rely on official Government of Canada sources for authoritative information.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or harvest the Content;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the site or its security; or
• use the site for any unlawful purpose.

6. Third-party services

The site uses third-party services such as analytics, ads (Google AdSense), and donations (Stripe). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for details on data.

7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The site and its Content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 0x Code Limited is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its Content.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the site after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the applicable province, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
